Born and educated in West Texas, James Dennis has practiced in the area of trial and appellate litigation throughout Texas since 1985. His practice involves a variety of trial and appellate issues, including: product liability; construction litigation; insurance litigation; deceptive trade practices; personal injury; and commercial disputes. While in law school, Mr. Dennis was named a member of Phi Delta Phi and to the Order of Barristers. Along with his partner, Jeff Alley, he won the ABA National Moot Court championship and was named outstanding oralist in the State Moot Court Competition. After leaving Texas Tech, Mr. Dennis continued to work in advocacy and became the coach of the Cathedral High School Mock Trial Team for several years. Mr. Dennis concentrates on complex litigation and has frequently spoken on issues arising from this litigation. His practice encompasses a wide variety of claims and clients, including national, regional, and local concerns.
